In an exciting development, Coursebank traveled to Cagayan de Oro on April 22, 2023, to conduct a seminar workshop for selected government teachers who excel in digital technology. The objective was to train them on creating Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) following Coursebank processes, specifically for the upcoming Bisaya versions of three of 36 Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) courses: Microsoft Productivity Tools, Navigating Google Workspace, and Canva for Graphic Design. 

The seminar workshop encompassed a comprehensive overview of the MOOC development process, including translating documentary materials into Bisaya, audio recording, file uploading, and course review prior to the launch. This initiative aims to cater to the regional demand for localized digital courses. 

The highly anticipated launch of the three Bisaya courses is scheduled for June 27, 2023. The timing aligns perfectly with the DICT Region 10 Culmination Activity for the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Month, creating a significant platform to showcase the region’s progress in digital education and technological advancement.
